In September 2011 Southern Cross Healthcare Group PLC announced that it was restructuring and that this would mean that all the care homes it operated would be transferred to other operators. From July 11 2011 the share listing of Southern Cross Healthcare Group PLC on the London Stock Exchange has been temporarily suspended.

As at the end of November 2011 the process of transferring homes was substantially complete.
