The Practice, Ethics, Education and Research Review (PEER) Group - or the Ethics Committee, as it is commonly known - is unique within Care Centre management. It is a sign of Southern Cross’s continued commitment to market leading developments in care and care management. Individuals are selected to join the committee based on the contribution they are able to make to achieve the committee’s aims. Not only do we have leading practioners in the field but representatives from our service users themselves. To find out more about our committee members click here.
The objectives of the Ethics committee are quite simple. To develop a culture of best practice based on cutting-edge research throughout the organisation.
How will we do this?
By ensuring the latest techniques and practices in care are incorporated into our care guidelines.
By encouraging our people who are providing care day-in day-out, to come forward with practical ideas for research - research that will bring real benefit not only to our service users but to care provision generally.
