Welcome to Craigielea Care Centre

Craigielea is a highly equipped modern facility designed to accommodate older people who require additional care due to physical frailty or mental health problems.The centre has also been purpose built to provide care services for younger adults who are physically disabled.

The Craigielea family is made up of 84 services users, each of which has their own individual bedroom with en-suite bathroom. We regularly enjoy activities and outings as a group, such as dining out at restaurants, visiting museums and shopping trips.

Services & Activities

When spending time at home the service users within our community have a large selection of activities available to choose from. We regularly hold a book club at the centre which has become extremely popular. The co-ordinator who operates the club said:

"Everyone is waiting for me when I arrive on the appointed evening and keen for me to return."..."The joy and peace that is in evidence whenever one enters the centre is so rewarding"

Other facilities available to our service users include the free mini-bus service and in-house salon. We also have secured landscaped gardens where service users enjoy spending time with friends and relatives.

Celebrations

It is common to find us celebrating at Craigielea, for one reason or another. Recently we have been busy preparing for our Christmas Fete, just one of the many seasonal events we enjoy with our service users at this time of year. We also love to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries together and are looking forward to a wonderful Christmas at Craigielea.

Your Home

The qualified nursing staff and key workers at Craigielea are dedicated to ensuring that service users feel at home. We encourage people within the centre to personalise their own rooms in order to achieve a comfortable environment for themselves and their friends and family who are welcome to visit anytime.
