Welcome to Merlin Court Care Centre

Merlin Court can be found in the historic market town of Marlborough in Wiltshire. Bordering the common, our attractive, purpose built care centre is enhanced by this idyllic setting which perfectly complements our beautifully preserved gardens.

Built in 1999, Merlin Court is a modern facility which is well equipped to provide nursing care and social and personal care to our service users. We also provide care services for those suffering form dementia related disorders.

The centre comfortably holds 62 service users. There are a variety of single and double bedrooms available, all with en-suite facilities. Each private room has access to television and telephone.

Services & Activities

We regularly enjoy a wide variety of activities at Merlin Court; many of these take place with a view to raising money for charity. We recently held a very successful ‘Pink Day’ involving many of our service users, their friends and relatives which raised a significant sum for Breast Cancer Research.

Our highly motivated activities team constantly have something organised and our service users are always keen to get involved. We encourage service users to be actively involved in planning the activities programme. We also try to arrange group pastimes that are both physically and mentally stimulating. Our regular Friday coffee mornings are particularly popular, a great opportunity to socialise and of course friends and relatives are more than welcome.

Celebrations

Many of our service users enjoy entertaining in the private dining room. Whether enjoying a birthday celebration with friends at Merlin Court, or opting for a private party with family we will happily accommodate your requirements.

Within the centre there is also a coffee shop, variety of lounges, a conservatory and patio and a games room. Service users have regular access to all of the facilities. We often receive requests to have meals or refreshments on the patio or in the conservatory for example, and our dedicated staff are only too pleased to oblige.
