Description

Douglas View is a modern and specially designed two-storey Care Centre set in attractive gardens in Hamilton.

Accommodation

We offer tastefully styled single and companion bedrooms, all with en-suite facilities, while for those with special needs, we provide wheelchair access to all areas, wide corridors and other special amenities to make everything as safe, easy and convenient as possible. At Douglas View, we aim to look after not just your physical health, but your whole well-being. Your privacy is respected at all times and when you wish to socialise, we have eight cosy lounges, all with a television.

If you wish, you can pursue your hobbies and enjoy the books and other activities we provide. You can enjoy the sun on our front lawns or pretty decked area or relax in our Snoozelem room. If you smoke, there are specially designated smoking areas available. We also have an Activities Co-ordinator who plans regular activities and social entertainments, as well as Christmas celebrations, summer outings and trips to local theatres.We arrange regular visits from hairstylists and other professionals such as opticians when needed and, as with all Southern Cross Homes, you are welcome to keep your own doctor and dentist, where convenient.
