Description

Gledhow Care home is located behind Gledhow Primary School, which is on Lidgett Lane. The home is just a few yards down Brackenwood Drive. It is 2.5 miles north of Leeds City centre.

Accommodation

The home provides care for up to 50 older residents who are no longer able to live totally independently and who need regular nursing care or care support. All bedrooms are single with en suite toilet.

Care Services

The landscaped garden and patio area are enjoyed by the residents during the summer. Activities are an essential element to providing whole person care. They stimulate, help to encourage self-esteem and value; they are a means of communicating with other people, and of exercise. A varied programme is provided at the home which includes craftwork, outings and entertainments.

A regular Christian service is held for those wishing to attend and visits are made by local ministers.
