Description

Arranged on three floors, the Centre is pleasantly situated in a quiet cul-de-sac, overlooking open fields.

Accommodation

We offer tastefully styled single bedrooms, most with en-suite facilities. For those with special needs, we provide wheelchair access to all areas, moving aids and other special amenities to make everything as safe, easy and convenient as possible. At Lavender Lodge, we aim to look after not just your physical health, but your whole well-being. Your privacy is respected at all times and when you wish to socialise, we have two cosy television lounges.

Hoists, moving and handling equipment

If you wish, you can pursue your hobbies and enjoy the books and other activities we provide. You can take in the sun on our spacious patio area and if you smoke, we can discuss arrangements. We also have an Activities Co-ordinator who plans regular activities such as reminiscence groups, skittles and quizzes, as well as celebrations at Christmas, pub lunch outings and shopping trips. We arrange regular visits from hairstylists and other professionals such as opticians when needed and, as with all Southern Cross Homes, you are welcome to keep your own doctor and dentist, where convenient.
