Although Southern Cross mainly provide care for the elderly we also have specially designed units for individuals with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities.

Staff are specifically trained to meet the needs of individuals of all ages.

Activities are an important way of maintaining independence and providing stimulation which is why each of our units has a dedicated activities organiser. Outings to shops, theatres and swimming pools are organised on a regular basis. Music and Art therapy feature alongside our Multi Sensory rooms.

Visiting health care professionals will continue to provide any additional physioptherapy, occupational and speech or language therapy that an individual might need. A GP visits regularly and provides 24 hour medical assistance.
