The Southern Cross Healthcare Group

Southern Cross is the largest provider of care homes and long term care beds in the United Kingdom.

As at 29 March 2009, we have a total of 734 care homes and approximately 37,600 available beds and employ 41,000 people through our three brands – Southern Cross Healthcare, Ashbourne Senior Living and Active Care Partnerships.

Both Southern Cross Healthcare and Ashbourne Senior Living provide care homes for the elderly. The focus of Ashbourne Senior Living is to provide care for the most discerning of service users. Active Care Partnerships provide specialist care for people with a number of different conditions in a variety of settings.

In our homes we treat each service user as a special individual, providing a safe and relaxing environment that helps our service users feel at home.
